Emergency Department CT Addition
In response to the demand for a dedicated CT scanner in the Emergency Department, C/V Architects explored multiple options with the client for integrating the new modality within the existing Emergency Department footprint.
Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Equipment Upgrades
The project encompassed the replacement of multiple pieces of equipment in the Outpatient Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Departments with new state-of-the-art radiology and nuclear imaging systems.
Quick Eats and Einstein Brothers Bagels

Blue Bird Conference Room
Located in the Jones Tower, the Blue Bird Conference and Training Room required a comprehensive aesthetic and technology upgrade.
Medical Surgical Patient Unit Conversion
At the beginning of the project, the user group partnered closely with C/V Architects to thoroughly evaluate the feasibility of converting 18 postpartum patient beds into medical-surgical beds. This strategic assessment helped optimize the facility’s bed configuration to better align with evolving patient care demands.
Virtual Reality and Robotics Research Lab
The new laboratory is situated within a state-of-the-art virtual hospital and hands-on clinical training facility dedicated to healthcare professionals.
Outpatient Imaging Suite
Responding to the department needs to off-load outpatient volume from their Diagnostic Imaging department, C/V Architects designed a new outpatient imaging suite in shell space of North Pavilion at Willowbrook Campus
Orthopedics Biomechanics Research Lab
Delivered a complete build-out renovation for a new collaborative space between Rice University and Houston Methodist Hospital. The project transformed the facility into a modern, high-functioning environment designed to support joint research, clinical innovation, and academic partnership.
