Emergency Department CT Addition

In response to the demand for a dedicated CT scanner in the Emergency Department, C/V Architects explored multiple options with the client for integrating the new modality within the existing Emergency Department footprint. Through the relocation and renovation of several Emergency Department offices and a soiled workroom, the CT Scan Room and its Control Room were strategically positioned both within the department and in close proximity to the Trauma area. The design team worked closely with the Imaging and Emergency teams to ensure the space fully met all clinical and operational requirements.
